Indians third in crime rates in Kuwait

Statistics issued by the Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Justice showed that 4,893 crimes were committed by Egyptians in 2007 and 2008 while 3,602 crimes were committed by Bedouns, 2,473 by Indians, 2,091 by Bangladeshis, 1,925 by Syrians and 1,205 crimes by Saudis in the same period, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
 
inappropriate for Indian schools to increase the fee now

“In such a crucial time when the economic crisis effecting the majority of the expatriate community in Kuwait, It’s not appropriate for Indian schools in Kuwait to increase the fee which will be an additional burden for the expatriate families living here” opined Sri Ajay Malhotra, Ambassador of India to Kuwait.

Expats Pay Tribute to Plane Crash Victims

A joint condolence meeting for the victims of the air crash at Mangalore airport was organized by various organizations with Karnataka base in Kuwait, on Monday May 24, 2010 at 7 pm at Indian Community Senior Girls School Auditorium in Salmiya.
