Fate confined this Hapless Indian in the form of a road accident. Aravasserry Siddiq from Vadanappalli near Thrissur in Kerala met with a tragic road accident near Khairan last September and is bed ridden from then on. He was travelling in a mini bus from Khairan to Fahaheel when the tyre of the bus bust and the bus overturned. 4 other people including 2 keralities who were with him got killed on the spot in that accident. In a narrow escape Siddiq survived but destiny was not with him. He had major injury on his head and his hand and leg was badly injured. He was admitted in Adan hospital. After a prolonged treatment of 2 months he was discharged though he was not able to neither sit nor stand. He is now living in a room in Mangaf in complete bed rest with the sole help of his friends. He need others help even for his basic needs. Back home in Kerala his family condition is poor and he is the only earning member in the family. He has 2 daughters aged 15 and 13 and a son aged 10 who solely depend on him. Here with his small job in wafra farm, whatever small earnings he had his family survived with that. Doctors who treated him says that he may start to walk in another few months. Now the big question in front of him is the expense for his treatment and the way he will run his family.
